Annual Parish Meeting

The Annual Parish Meeting will take place at Fordham Memorial Hall on Thursday 24th May at 7.30pm all parishioners are welcome to attend to hear what the Parish Council and local societies have been doing over the past year. It is also your opportunity to ask questions.

January 2018 Parish Council meeting

Happy New Year to all village residents.

The next Parish Council meeting will be held on Tuesday 9th January at 7.30pm. Items under discussion include the co-option of a new Councillor, the Oak Tree Way development and the roles and responsibilities of the Councillors.

Villagers are warmly invited to attend so that you can raise issues that concern you.

Update – November 2017

Following the resignation of Cynthia Combe, Cllr. Clive Close was elected to become the Vice-chair of the Parish Council. Cllr. Close is responsible for roads and highways. Recently he reported and over saw the clearing of foul water along Hay Wood Lane. The large pot hole at Reed End had also been repaired.

The roles and responsibilities of the Councilors will be reviewed at the January meeting.

Fly tipping is on the increase but it is good to learn that two recent case of tipping in Reed have led to successfully prosecution.
